Yum Cha

''Yum Cha'' (飲茶) is in Cantonese term which means ''drink tea''. ''Yum cha'' is also a morning ritual for the elderly to spend a good time in the morning. In the past, people went to tea house to ''yum cha'' but ''Dim Sum'' restaurants has been gaining overwhelming popularity of late. ''Yum cha'' is a tradition on weekend mornings, and whole families gather to chat,eat ''Dim Sum'' and drink Chinese tea. But nowadays, no matter young or old people ''yum cha'' become a trend in asia especially in Malaysia, youngsters will go to the ''mamak'' stall for ''yum cha'', however the old folks go to coffee shop or Chinese restaurant.
