The great time to travel to Malaysia is in the month of May, June, Ausgust and December, because is not so hot and humid.
In the early of May, Malaysia has the Wesak Day - in Selangor, Duan wu festival - eat 'Zong Zi'(Rice dumpling), 1st Malaysia International Dragon boat festival at Putrajaya Water Sports Complex, Precint 6,Putrajaya, Selangor, Malaysia 2009(June 5-7). More details, call 03-61416553

In Chinese calender, 15th of Ausgust is the Mooncake festival. In Western calender is end of September or early October; for 2009, is 3rd October.

On every 31st Ausgust is Malaysia Independant day/ 'Merdeka Day'. It is our public holiday. In the early morning there will be celebration ceremony in Merdeka square, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
January and February is a summer day in Malaysia. It is about 30-32 degrees. Chinese New Year mostly falls on January and February.
On the March, June, and December is school holiday and there are many sales going on. So, you can enjoy your shopping...:)
